Le sapitwa est le pic culminant du Malawi, à 3002 m – Sa signification en langue chichewa serait : « N’y va pas » – De quoi indiquer non seulement la difficulté de son ascension ou des conditions météorologiques, mais aussi la source de nombreux mythes et légendes particulièrement dissuasifs.
