Kingdom of Kush
Kingdom of Kush (c. 785BCE – c. 350CE) - An ancient kingdom in Nubia. Its capitals were successively Napata (pres. Karima, Sudan) and Meroë. The Kingdom of Aksum defeated it in the 4th century AD. Afterwards three Christianized kingdoms emerged: Nobatia, Makuria and Alodia.
Royaume de Koush (v. 785BCE - v. 350CE) - Ancien royaume de Nubie. Ses capitales furent successivement Napata (auj. Karima, Soudan) et Méroé. Le royaume d'Axoum est vaincu au 4ème siècle après JC. Par la suite, trois royaumes christianisés ont émergé : Nobatia, Makuria et Alodia.
