Festival of swings

Festival of swings

It is said that the first eleven ancestors of the Akhas
(now present in China, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar)
Belonged to the spirit world
It was a time when minds and human beings
Lived under the same roof, born to the same parents

But a disagreement arose between minds and men,
And they parted
Then they agreed that the spirits would stay in the forest
While human beings lived in villages

Porticoes with spirits erected at the entrance to villages
Are therefore essential places for the balance of worlds...

So let's think about it
If we participate one day
At the dizzying Festival des Balançoires
In order to honor and respect the ancestors,
And to welcome the harvest season …
